How to sell digital products without showing your face

· 7 min read

Start with one small, useful product

A digital product is anything a buyer downloads or accesses online: a PDF guide, a checklist, a planner, a template or a workbook. For a first product, choose something small that solves one specific problem for one audience.

Ask: what question do people in my audience keep asking? A focused checklist that answers it well is a better start than a large course nobody finishes.

Create and list it

Build the file with tools you already know, such as a document editor or a design app, and export it as a PDF. Keep the design clean and readable on a phone.

List it on a digital storefront that handles checkout, tax and file delivery for you. Write an honest description: who it's for, what's included, the file format and how delivery works.

Promote it faceless

Pick one channel. On Pinterest, create pins that answer a search question and link to your product. On Instagram, make short Reels using text overlays, screen recordings or hands-only footage, with one clear call to action.

A free sample — a short, genuinely useful excerpt — lets buyers see your style before paying and gives them a reason to join your email list.

Review, then improve one thing

After two weeks of posting, look at what people clicked and saved. Change one thing at a time — the title, the cover, the description or the type of post — so you can tell what helped.

The Faceless Seller Starter System brings the four guides and the 30-day workbook together if you want a structured plan for this whole path.
